Magento 2 / Adobe Commerce features
The integration with Magento 2 / Adobe Commerce enables automated and structured data exchange between the webshop and connected systems. This article serves as documentation of what we can do with an integration to Magento 2 / Adobe Commerce and which business processes can be supported.
Note: The availability of features depends on which system category is integrated to Magento 2 / Adobe Commerce (e.g., financial system, warehouse, or POS system).
The integration makes it possible to:
Order management and credit notes
- Send orders: With the integration, orders can be sent from the webshop to financial systems for posting, warehouse systems for order handling and inventory management, and POS systems for inventory management. The transfer includes customer data and order lines, ensuring consistent handling of sales data across systems.
- Handle credit notes: With the integration, credit notes from the webshop can be handled and sent to connected systems, including financial, warehouse, and POS systems. This ensures correct adjustment of revenue and inventory across systems.
Customer data and order information
- Read CVR number: With the integration, the CVR number can be read from the order and included in the customer data when transferred to connected systems. This ensures correct registration of company information.
- Read EAN number: With the integration, the EAN number can be read from the order and included in the customer data when transferred to connected systems. This ensures correct handling of EAN customers and electronic invoicing.
- Include order status: With the integration, the order status from the webshop can be included and transferred to connected systems. This ensures correct processing of the order based on its current stage.
Product data
- Send products: With the integration, products can be sent from the webshop to connected systems - also independently of an order. The transfer includes item number/SKU, name, and price. Product variants are fully supported.
- Receive products: With the integration, products can be received from connected systems and created or updated in the webshop. This ensures that product information is kept up to date across systems.
Inventory and fulfillment
- Receive inventory levels: With the integration, inventory levels can be received from connected systems and updated in the webshop. This ensures that the stock status in the webshop reflects the current inventory.
- Receive fulfillments: With the integration, the order status in the webshop is updated automatically when the order has been processed in the connected system. This ensures that the webshop always reflects the current order status.
