Upgrade Woocommerce Integration for IEX 2.0

This is a step by step guide to install and configure your new WooCommerce to e-conomic IEX 2.0 plugin.

Go to your Woocommerce shop.

You now need to deactivate your old IEX integration. Click on Plugins and under IEX Integration you must now turn off IEX plugin (NOTE : Do NOT delete your plugin). Finish with Save settings:

When you ordered your new plugin , you received login to your IEX dashboard. Here you can see 'WooCommerce' download your new IEX 2.0 plugin (for example, to your computer's desktop so you can easily find it) and upload to your WordPress / WooCommerce shop.

You must now upload IEX plugin for your WooCommerce shop. You do this in your WordPress dashboard below Plugins and Add new.

Click Upload plugin:


Upload the plugin and click Install now:


Activate the plugin:


Go to your IEX dashboard.

Here, under Profile  you shall copy the IEX API key:


In your WooCommerce shop during IEX Integration, you must now insert IEX API key, click Save Changes and then Sanity check. Now your integration associated with your shop: 


Now the integration has to be associated with your accounts, click Economic and then Connect to e-conomic:


Here you must use your e-conomic information:

- Agreement Number

- User-ID

- Password

- Finish by clicking Grant Access:


Now you need to configure e-conomic in the IEX dashboard under the menu Economic: If you have freight, discounts and fees in your shop to your accounts, you need to create those lasting for e-conomic with eg partnumbers, freight, freightwm , discount , fee and feewm and paste them below Freight partnumber excl. VAT, Freight partnumber incl. VAT, Discount partnumber Fee Partnumber excl. VAT and Partnumber for payfee with VAT.

Under Update products you need to choose, if you constantly update your products in e-conomic, when you make changes to these in your shop


Under Woocommerce you need to add your shop url. Click Save changes and then Download order stages and Download product stages:


Synchronizing your products to e-conomic:

For the integration to work properly, your products need to have unique part numbers (SKU) and are available in e-conomic. Choose the product stages you want to transfer to e-conomic, example 'Published." Finish with Save changes, and your new products will automatically be transferred to e-conomic. Now test the Integration by creating and saving a test product in your shop. In your IEX dashboard under Process Queue you can now see your new product in the queue, ready to be transferred to your accounting.

If the product is in your process queue, you can synchronize your existing products from WooCommerce to e-conomic by clicking Synchronize products (This can only be done once per 48 hours, so you need to be sure that everything is set up properly before you synchronize your products).

Now, under  Order settings choose which order stages you want transferred to your accounting, example 'Completed'. Finish with Save Changes. All orders with the selected order stages will then be transferred to e-conomic:


Go to SettingsAnd change the status to Active and click on Save:


Your integration is now ready to automatically transfer orders, items and customers from your WooCommerce shop to your e-conomic.You can test your integration by making an order and see it be created in e-conomic.

NOTE: Do not delete your old IEX plugin before your new integration has run flawlessly for at least 14 days.
